Everything you need to know about Sip and Craft at The Dish Room

Welcome to Sip and Craft at The Dish Room - I am so glad you are here!  This is a monthly, reservation-based crafting experience hosted at The Dish Room.  Each session includes:

  • A 3-hour crafting experience in a relaxed and inviting setting
  • A wooden craft project of your choosing 
  • Optional appetizer add-on purchase through the 5R Designs website
  • Optional soft drinks/alcoholic beverages available for purchase from the bar

To ensure a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, seating is limited and is available on a first-come basis until all seats are filled or until the registration deadline has arrived - whichever comes first.  Scroll down to learn more about the craft session, how to select a date, add an appetizer, pick your project and check out to finalize your registration.   

  • Location:  The Dish Room - 218 S. Lincoln Street, Burlington, CO  80807
  • Date:  One Tuesday and Thursday of each month - see dates below
  • Time:  Doors open at 6PM - use west entrance. 
    • Optional appetizer and drink service begins at 6PM
    • Craft Session starts at 6:30PM
  • Attire:  Comfortable, crafting clothes - there will be paint and stain used

 

How it works:

Doors will open at 6PM and the craft session will start at 6:30PM.  During that time, participants can get water, purchase drinks from the bar and the appetizer for the evening (if you purchased one) will be served.     

Once everyone has arrived, I will give instructions, talk about paint, stain and supplies and then the craft session will begin.  Participants will work at their own pace using whatever paint, stain and embellishments they choose.  No rush, no pressure - feel free to enjoy an appetizer, sip your drink, and visit with friends.  This is your night out - gather, create, enjoy every moment and leave with a handcrafted masterpiece!

 

How to register:

There are 3 steps to register for the craft session.  At each step, you will choose your selection and then add it to your cart.  Click "continue shopping" and scroll down to the next step.  After all 3 selections have been added to your cart, click "check out".  Once you have checked out, your registration is complete and you will receive an order confirmation email.  The project you selected and appetizer (if you ordered one) will be waiting for you at the session that you chose.

Step 1: Session Selection  

This is where you will see the available sessions and the seats remaining for each one.  Click "view full details" to advance to the next page.  Choose the night of the week you would like to attend and add to the cart.  If you are registering for yourself, add 1 to the cart.  If you are registering for yourself and others, then add that number to the cart.  Click "continue shopping" and scroll down to Step 2.  Please note:  if there are not enough seats for the number you are registering for, please reach out to 719-343-0361 and I can check for any overflow seating.

Step 2: Appetizer Selection 

In this section, you will choose whether or not you would like the appetizer that is being offered during the craft session.  A description of the appetizer and the price will be listed. If you would like an appetizer, choose desired option and add to the cart.  If you do not want an appetizer, choose "no appetizer" and add to the cart.  If you are registering for other people, add the first selection and quantity to the cart and then go back and continue as needed until all selections have been added.  Once you have everything added to the cart, click "continue shopping" and scroll down to Step 3.  

Step 3: Project Selection

Now for the fun part!  This is where you select your project for the evening.  Choose one of our year-long interchangeable series, custom decor pieces, shelf sitters or hanging signs. 

During our 3-hour session, most attendees can comfortably complete:

  • One non-interchangeable project
  • One interchangeable base piece and insert (if starting a new series)
  • or 1-3 interchangeable inserts (if continuing a series)
